Key Responsibilities
- Conduct sample analysis using both modern automated systems and traditional testing methods, ensuring your skills remain dynamic and continuously evolving.
- Work in a vibrant, award-winning laboratory environment alongside a diverse team of analysts, where you will have opportunities for both collaborative and independent work.
- Collaborate with experienced team managers and leaders to navigate a structured progression scheme aimed at developing you into a senior analyst within Thames Water Laboratories.
- Enhance your expertise in your designated areas of work, becoming a knowledgeable resource in the laboratory.
- Adhere to quality management systems compliant with ISO/IEC 17025, including MCERTs and DWTS for specific methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possess prior laboratory experience or hold a relevant Science degree, or have completed A-Level studies in a science-related discipline along with a grade B/6 in Maths GCSE.
- Follow stringent protocols and guidelines to accurately produce, document, maintain, and verify data within a highly regulated UKAS accredited laboratory.
- Demonstrate a customer-centric approach in all tasks, valuing teamwork to deliver outstanding service.
- Exhibit comfort with repetitive tasks and a genuine enthusiasm for laboratory work.
- Continuously seek improvement opportunities for both personal development and operational processes, confidently sharing your ideas.
