Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Lead to join our team at HBF Recruitment Ltd.

About the Role

  • Provide technical input and guidance to the development team to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage and oversee the development engineers to deliver key outputs for the business.
  • Commission and review pre-construction stage planning and feasibility reports, including arboriculture, archaeological, acoustic, ecology, fire risk assessment, flood risk assessment, traffic and transport, soil investigation, and soakage tests.
  • Produce and review design and pre-construction programmes, and schedule of service documents for designer/consultant appointments.
  • Value engineer design proposals in conjunction with other members of the project team.
  • Manage the production and review of design information and details during the pre-contract and construction phase.
  • Oversee the technical approval process and provide input to secure sectional agreements across all regional projects.
  • Manage and monitor estate completion schedules, registers, and bonds.

Requirements

  • Degree, HND/HNC in a construction or civil engineering related field.
  • Must have housebuilding experience.
