Group Financial Controller

Equity Finance Partners is seeking a highly skilled Group Financial Controller to join our team. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership and guidance to support the company's growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of financial planning and analysis processes to drive business growth and profitability.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports, including consolidated financial statements and management accounts.
- Ensure the maintenance of strong financial controls and processes to safeguard assets and maximize profit performance.
- Collaborate with the audit team to ensure timely and accurate completion of the annual external audit process.
- Develop and implement effective financial planning and forecasting processes to support business decision-making.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the finance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial information.
- Graduate-level education with a strong academic record.
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in practice and industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounting (IFRS) and compliance, with experience of M&A and taxation (UK and Europe).
- Experience of monthly group consolidations, including overseas trading entities with fx exposure.
- Ability to build and develop a high-performing finance team.
