Your Responsibilities:

  • Transporting cargo to designated locations in a timely manner, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations.
  • Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your assigned vehicle to guarantee optimal performance and roadworthiness.
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and pickups, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborating effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as a Class 1 truck driver.
  • Strong understanding of road safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently to meet deadlines.

Compensation: £16.00 per hour
