Pertemps TM, a leading provider in the manufacturing sector, is currently in search of a Production Assembly Technician.

This position is a temporary role with the potential for permanent employment, offering a competitive hourly wage of £12.70, with opportunities for increases as skills develop.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4:30pm, and Friday from 8am to 1pm.

Location: The role is situated in a convenient area with free parking available on-site. Please note that steel toe cap boots are required.

Training: Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped for the role.

Role Overview: As a Production Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling components and panels according to engineering specifications. You may also assist other manufacturing teams as needed, gaining expertise in your designated area while utilizing your own workstation and tools.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings.
  • Experience with handheld tools such as sanders and drills.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments including rulers, verniers, and tape measures.
  • A background in hands-on production or assembly work, potentially in carpentry or construction.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to follow detailed instructions.

  • Inserting potting materials.
  • Filling and sanding surfaces.
  • De-coring materials.
  • Drilling holes.
  • Applying edge tape.
