Electrical Technician Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our EM&I team in the Bridgwater and Weston-super-Mare area. As an Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out pre-planned and reactive maintenance work, including small installation projects on our water recycling centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out maintenance work on electrical systems and equipment
  • Perform fault finding, fault diagnosis, and fault resolution
  • Take responsibility for ensuring the effective operation of plant, machinery, and equipment
  • Work with a wide variety of products and equipment
  • Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota covering the larger patch
Requirements:
  • Time-served Electrical Technician with City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or a time-served Electrical Apprenticeship
  • Competent in three-phase and single-phase power and control systems
  • Excellent health and safety awareness and IT literacy
  • Valid UK driving licence
