About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Jaguar Land Rover as a senior legal professional, providing strategic legal and commercial advice to the company's leadership team. As a key member of the legal department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the company's business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of solicitors and company secretarial advisors, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of a best-in-class legal and governance service.
  • Deliver complex legal advice and support on corporate and governance matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and commercial agreements.
  • Manage a high and demanding workload, delegating tasks to team members as necessary and ensuring the effective deployment of legal governance requirements.
  • Support the development of Jaguar Land Rover's business strategy, providing input on business expansion initiatives and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guide and shape business strategies, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and goals.
Requirements
  • Highly experienced solicitor registered to practice in England and Wales, with extensive experience in corporate and governance law.
  • Proven track record of leading and supervising a team of solicitors and company secretarial advisors.
  • Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to juggle a large and varied workload.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to process information and present it in a user-friendly way.
  • Agile and flexible, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
