Design Coordinator

Mivan is a dynamic and progressive specialist joinery and interior fit-out contractor with a reputation for excellence and innovation. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Coordinator to join our team at our Head Office in Antrim.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the design service provided on joinery and fit-out contracts, working closely with the project management team, production, clients, and external consultants.
- Monitor design costs on projects against budget allowances and provide design advice on building regulations, fire protection, and other relevant matters.
- Ensure the design team produces drawings accurately, efficiently, and according to programme, and chair design meetings to resolve any issues that may arise.
- Maintain adequate records, manage the flow of information, and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders.
- Extensive experience in architectural design and/or construction projects, including experience of progressing projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards for design and build contracts.
- Knowledge of BIM processes and experience working to tight programmes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the project management team, production, clients, and external consultants to deliver high-quality design solutions.
