Position Overview

As a member of the Sales team at Worldwide Flight Services, you will be responsible for executing strategies to identify, develop, and pursue business opportunities through the profitable sale of Renewable Energy solutions (PPAs, EACs, On-Site Solar, Carbon Offsets, and Net Zero advisory services) to large commercial and industrial clients across the UK, Ireland, Germany, and Continental Europe. Many of your target customers will include National Accounts from your country and Global Corporations with multiple sites across Europe.

The Sales Executive will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts, Key Account Managers, and Marketing to support commercial activities across all Sustainability solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and implement initiatives to achieve sales objectives, including gross profit and sales volume.
  • Develop strategies and tactics for key accounts, both existing and prospective.
  • Coordinate support for proposal preparations and contract negotiations for complex transactions.
  • Manage margins through ongoing market analysis and competitive landscape assessments.
  • Be accountable for individual sales targets and goals.
  • Prospect and identify new leads and opportunities.
  • Document activities in Salesforce CRM.
  • Achieve established sales goals.
  • Lead sales presentations for potential large commercial and industrial customers.
  • Oversee all stages of the sales process and account management.
  • Anticipate market needs and propose alternative solutions as necessary.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Provide weekly sales forecasts and status updates, ensuring excellent pipeline management.
  • Market Development - Identify new customer growth opportunities in Energy/Sustainability.
  • Attend relevant industry conferences to expand the customer base and gather market intelligence.
  • Perform other related duties as required by leadership.

Minimum Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Economics, Business, or Sustainability) and/or client-facing sales experience with a proven track record in large commercial and industrial sectors.
  • Ideally, 3+ years of relevant experience in Renewable Energy and/or Sustainability sales.
  • Experience in sales consultancy with high-level decision-makers is advantageous.

  • Experience in identifying, evaluating, and pursuing renewable energy opportunities is preferred.
