Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Pastry Chef De Partie to join our team at Gotpeople. As a key member of our culinary team, you will assist the Pastry Sous Chef in the preparation and service of pastries, desserts, and bakeries.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Pastry Sous Chef in maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation in all pastry and dessert products.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of pastries, desserts, and bakeries to meet the demands of our busy hotel.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other chefs and kitchen staff to maintain a smooth and efficient service.
  • Contribute to the development of new pastry and dessert products to enhance our menu offerings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef De Partie in a similar hotel environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation techniques.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
