Pertemps Plymouth is seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in managing, controlling, and conducting audit fieldwork for a diverse range of clients, developing strong relationships with those clients, and helping to win new clients for the firm.
Key Responsibilities- Planning and Execution: Plan, manage, control, and conduct audit fieldwork for a portfolio of clients under the direction of Audit Partners, Directors, and Managers.
- Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements for non-audit clients.
- Team Development: Develop and train junior team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and they are satisfied with the services provided.
- Department Development: Assist Audit Partners in developing the department, including proposing new work and identifying opportunities for growth.
- Networking: Network with business communities in which Pertemps Plymouth's offices and clients are based.
- Qualifications: ACA or ACCA part qualified or qualified with a good level of experience working within an audit and assurance team.
- Skills: Resilient, able to multi-task, and work independently. Good level of knowledge of UK Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with experience of Caseware audit software and Sage Accounts software an advantage.
- Experience: Experience of working in an audit and assurance team, with a good understanding of the audit process and financial reporting requirements.
