Electronics Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team at Onyx-Conseil. This role involves the repair and maintenance of analogue electronics, with a focus on identifying and locating faults in electronic and electrotechnical parts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and locate faults in electronic and electrotechnical parts, including PCBs and PCAs.
  • Carry out repairs and modifications to electronic equipment, including soldering and assembly of wiring and connectors.
  • Conduct testing to component level and build assemblies, equipment, and test sets from provided drawings and documents.
  • Work with CAD packages and other test and simulation software to design and develop electronic circuits.
  • Have a good understanding of analogue electronic circuits and discrete digital circuits, including fault-finding and design.
Requirements:
  • Experience in electronics repair and maintenance, with a focus on analogue electronics.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic components and their operation and uses.
  • Ability to solder to a good standard and work with various solder joints.
  • Good understanding of CAD packages and other test and simulation software.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 depending on experience and expertise.
