We are seeking a highly skilled Land and Property Surveyor to join our team at Solos Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for efficiently managing land acquisition requests, including seeking land valuations, managing consultation with neighbouring properties and negotiating costs.
Key Responsibilities:- Land Acquisition: Prepare for, organise and undertake freehold and leasehold disposals and acquisitions using a variety of resources including external consultants and auctioneers.
- Site Inspections: Carry out pre-arranged and random site inspections, assessing level of quality, timeliness and customer care.
- Report Writing: Compile reports from land inspections accurately detailing any issues or potential development opportunities found.
- Complaint Resolution: Investigate and find resolution to complaints against the Housing Investment & Asset Management service.
- Property Queries: Respond to property queries from the public, outside organisations, elected members, client officers and departments.
- Proven experience of carrying out land/property surveys.
- Experience in Valuation and Commercial Estate.
- Proven experience of identifying building defects.
- Proven experience of surveying.
- Proven experience of producing specifications of work in construction.
- Experience of dealing effectively with concerns or complaints from customers from a range of backgrounds.
- Experience of local authority procurement methods.
- Experience of producing high quality documents, reports and correspondence.
