We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated student to join our team in Huddersfield, specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our Supply Chain business unit. During your placement, you will gain valuable experience and skills in a major global organization, laying the foundation for a successful career in the industry.

This role is ideal for students who qualify for a placement year and will commence in July 2025. As a Placement Student, you will work closely with worldwide project teams, Plant Materials, Demand Management, Account Management, and Purchasing to drive new product parts forecast and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global project teams to develop and implement supply chain strategies
  • Assist Planning & Logistics with packaging data collection, system maintenance, and improvement projects
  • Support Materials with freight data and premium freight activities
  • Contribute to VPI (New Product Introduction) and Supply Chain Cost Reporting
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making
  • Source information, develop solutions, and implement results-driven initiatives

Requirements:

  • Studying a range of degrees, including Business, Supply Chain, and Logistics
  • Strong Microsoft skills, including Excel and PowerPoint, with Power BI an advantage
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills for global collaboration
  • Willingness to learn and solve problems
