Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Team Leader to join our team at CV Library. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of engineers to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to your team to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively to meet business objectives.
  2. Maintenance and Repair: Oversee the maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  3. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  4. Training and Development: Identify training needs and provide opportunities for team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  5. Communication: Foster effective communication between teams and departments to ensure seamless operation.
  6. Permit to Work: Manage the Permit to Work system to ensure that all necessary permits are in place and that work is carried out safely.
  7. Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure a safe and healthy workplace.
  8. Problem-Solving: Encourage a culture of problem-solving and root cause analysis to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  9. Reporting: Provide regular reports to management on team performance and any issues that may impact business operations.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
  2. Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Education: Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
