Job Description:


Are you an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor looking for a new challenge?


Our client, a specialist law firm with over 30 years' experience in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, is seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join their team.


You will play a key role in handling allocated cases from inception to trial, assisting junior team members, and working on all aspects of pre and post-litigation.


Responsibilities:



  • Managing individual caseloads
  • Providing support and guidance to the team
  • Proactive and commercial case management and progression
  • Effective time recording
  • Agreeing case tactics within the team
  • Identifying cases ready for LOC, settlement, and service
  • Coordinating case progression with internal and external parties
  • Drafting legal documentation
  • Litigating claims as required
  • Negotiating settlement and issuing proceedings
  • Overseeing team correspondence

About You:



  • Recent experience managing a caseload
  • NQ - 8 years + PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Proclaim
  • Excellent client care skills
