Overview
As a vital member of our IT team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional technical support to our diverse user base across multiple locations. This position is perfect for recent IT graduates eager to launch their careers or seasoned professionals seeking advancement opportunities.
The IT department is dedicated to enhancing, maintaining, and evolving the technological framework of PKF Francis Clark LLP.
You will primarily operate from our Exeter office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week.
Daily Responsibilities
Your work will be dynamic and varied, encompassing a range of tasks such as:
- Delivering first-line IT support both remotely and on-site
- Assisting in the onboarding process by providing user training for new employees
- Managing user accounts, including the setup of new profiles in Active Directory and Exchange
- Aiding in the assembly and upkeep of end-user devices
- Performing general administrative duties within the department, including data management and resource allocation
- Contributing to IT projects and system implementations
Candidate Profile
To excel in this position, you should possess:
- Strong interpersonal skills, confidence, and a proactive approach to assisting others
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- A methodical and precise approach to data handling and software usage
Additionally, familiarity with the following will be beneficial:
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT fundamentals, particularly Windows 10 and Microsoft Office 365
- Proficient troubleshooting capabilities
- An understanding of the significance of security and confidentiality in a professional setting
Experience or interest in the following areas would also be advantageous:
- Citrix environments
- Business and financial software
- Microsoft Teams
- Document management systems
- Mobile device support
