As a key member of the Internal Audit and Risk Management team at Asda Stores Ltd, you will play a vital role in supporting the business through a period of transformational change. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing insight to effectively manage associated risks and ensuring that opportunities are fully realized.
Your RoleReporting into an Internal Audit Manager, you will work as part of a team to deliver risk-based audits, value-add advisory work, and risk management reviews. You will be ideally placed to support the business through this period of change by being involved in business partnering Asda functions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver risk-based audits and value-add advisory work to support the business in managing associated risks.
- Conduct risk management reviews to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Collaborate with Asda functions to provide insight and support in managing risks.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in internal audit and risk management.
- Relevant experience in internal or external audit, risk, or finance, either in a commercial environment or in an accountancy practice.
- Ability to manage own workload to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Good attention to detail and analytical mindset.
- Agility and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Part or fully qualified in a relevant qualification (e.g. IIA, ACA, ACCA etc).
