Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at People First. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing and submitting monthly group financial reports for UK entities to HQ for consolidation in Chinese under China GAAP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and submit monthly group financial reports for UK entities to HQ for consolidation in Chinese under China GAAP.
  • Analyze major movements and variances for Balance Sheet/Income Statement and cash flow statement.
  • Work with Share Service Centre in China to complete full pack of the consolidation reports schedules monthly, ensuring all the disclosures are completed within the timelines.
  • Work closely with accounting team and subsidiaries for smooth monthly close and review the results from reporting perspective.
  • Provide support on all aspects of the company's internal and external audit.
  • Work closely with local accounting team to understand the GAAP differences between China GAAP and IFRS.
  • Make analysis for the differences between local Financial Statements and group financial results and ensure the both sets of reports are aligned.
  • Perform other analysis, ad hoc projects and duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Fluent written and spoken Mandarin and English.
  • Fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent.
  • Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent.
  • Strong relevant experience in medium/large companies.
  • Proficient in SAP skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, positive and proactive.
