About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Services Surveyor to join our team at Pegasus Search and Selection. As a key member of our construction consultancy, you will be responsible for administering contracts, providing accurate project cost monitoring, and collaborating with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Administer contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage project deliverables, KPIs, and objectives.
  • Manage contract change effectively and ensure projects remain within governance.
  • Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
  • Provide sound commercial knowledge and support to all stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and agree final accounts.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and contract management skills.
  • Experience with NEC3, Option C, and cost management.
  • Strong understanding of change management and control, valuation, risk management, procurement, estimating, pricing, and reporting.
  • Collaborative approach and best-for-project attitude.
  • Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters.
