We are seeking a skilled Psychologist to join our team in providing high-quality psychological therapy to patients receiving outpatient treatment within our Private therapy services.
This is a hybrid role offering face-to-face and remote sessions across two of our outpatient service sites at Bristol Hospital and Park Clinic.
The Care Quality Commission rates our services as "good". Our purpose at The Priory is to make a real and lasting difference for everyone we support through supporting our service users to "Live Your Life".
Bristol Hospital (Stapleton, M32)Our Grade II listed hospital building is set in extensive grounds, just off the M32 and less than three miles from the center of Bristol, with free on-site parking.
We offer 77 beds over seven wards, providing a wide range of services, including Psychiatric Intensive Care (PICU), eating disorders, acute care, rehab, and recovery.
Bristol Park Clinic (Aztec West)The Priory Hospital Bristol is looking to recruit a sessional Psychologist to our general psychiatry outpatient service.
The team works with clients with complex mental health problems including complex emotional needs, psychosis, bipolar affective disorder, recurrent depression, and complex PTSD.
We are interested in candidates with specialist training in DBT. Additional training in other psychotherapies such as CBT, CBTp, MBT, CAT, EMDR, and ACT would be a bonus.
The suitable candidate will be working across our two esteemed locations, and your role will be focused in our Private Outpatient Treatment Service.
You'll work with dedicated therapy teams known for delivering the highest quality care by offering specialist psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment for clients with complex mental health needs.
To undertake risk assessment and risk management for individual clients.
Prior experience in outpatient mental health services is essential.
