Job Description

Techniche Global Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Quality Inspector to join our team in the Oil & Gas and global energy industry. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Material and Component Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of goods received, first article, work in progress, and final inspection to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Roving Inspection: Perform regular inspections of production areas to identify and address any quality issues.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Create and maintain accurate inspection, dimensional, and hardness reports.
  • Gauge Calibration: Maintain and calibrate metrology equipment, including thread gauges, micrometers, caliper gauges, and profile projectors.
  • Internal Calibration: Perform internal calibration of equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Interdepartmental Liaison: Collaborate with production, quality, and dispatch departments to ensure seamless communication and quality control.
  • Customer and Supplier Liaison: Liaise with customer and supplier inspection departments to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Travel: Occasionally travel to off-site locations for inspections.
Requirements:
  • Metrology Equipment: Proficient in the use of thread gauges, micrometers, caliper gauges, profile projectors, and thread micrometers.
  • Hardness Testing: Experienced in hardness testing and familiar with relevant standards.
  • XRF Analyzer: Skilled in the use of XRF analyzers for material analysis.
  • Surface Comparator: Familiar with surface comparator equipment and techniques.
  • Plating and Coating Inspection: Experienced in inspecting plating and coating processes.
  • Certification and Sampling Plans: Familiar with certification for metallic materials and sampling plans.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • ISO 9001: Working knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the special fastener industry is desirable but not essential.
