HGV Yardperson Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Yardperson to join our team at Utilise Recruitment. As a Yardperson, you will be responsible for managing the materials yard, loading and unloading goods from vehicles, and ensuring products are stored correctly.

Responsibilities:

* Delivering products to sites
* Loading and unloading of goods from vehicles
* Ensuring products are stored in the correct places
* Adhering to all Health & Safety procedures
* Assisting with stock taking
* Maintaining a clean and tidy warehouse/yard area
* Conducting full vehicle inspections
* Reporting vehicle defects and ensuring defects are documented

Requirements:

* Must hold a valid Class 2 driving licence and Driver CPC
* Have delivery driving experience
* Be organised and have good attention to detail
* Be self-motivated
* Have excellent time keeping skills
* Be able to communicate clearly and effectively
