Requirements

Minimum of 6 Months HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required

Shift Patterns
  • Monday – Friday Days: £18.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Monday – Friday Nights: £19.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Saturday Days and Nights: £22.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
  • Sunday Days and Nights: £24.00 per hour (including holiday pay)
Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Transporting ambient products that do not require temperature monitoring.
  • Executing trunking operations, which involve driving along established routes for long-distance transportation of goods between distribution centers.
  • Handling various types of cargo, ensuring safe and efficient delivery.
  • Performing manual handling tasks, which include lifting, carrying, and moving goods during loading and unloading processes.
  • Conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues or maintenance requirements to maintain vehicle safety.
  • Keeping accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other essential documentation in line with company policies and legal standards.
Qualifications

Applicants must possess a valid HGV 1/C+E License and have a minimum of 6 months of HGV Class 1 driving experience.
