About Us: Verto People is a leading engineering manufacturer seeking a highly skilled Marketing Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • Develop, manage, and evaluate new marketing campaigns and content.
  • Manage social media accounts and campaigns to promote our brand.
  • Support the Aftermarket Manager and sales department with commercial and marketing tasks.
  • Provide fact-checking, copywriting, and formatting assistance.
  • Creation of application notes, articles, editorials, mailers, fliers, website content, newsletters, e-shots, sales tools, and other promotional materials.
  • Help maintain social media accounts and market on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.
  • Assistance with corporate videos and filming and planning promotional events.
  • Monitor and analyze market and competitor information.
  • Coordinate marketing actions with marketing managers worldwide.
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions.
  • Assist with preparation of documentation and planning of product launches.
  • Occasional international travel to marketing meetings and exhibitions as and when required.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Marketing Executive in a manufacturing or engineering background.
  • Experience in a marketing/social media position.
  • A marketing qualification or bachelor's degree in marketing would be advantageous.
  • Excellent writing and creative skills and proficiency in IT required.
  • Travel when required.
  • Willingness to travel to tradeshows, company events, or customer sites across the UK and worldwide.
  • A bilingual candidate is beneficial as there is a lot of global work.
