Job Title: Paediatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Paediatric Nurse to join our team at Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work in the ward, outpatient clinics, and Paediatric Accident & Emergency department, providing high-quality care to children and their families. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will work collaboratively with the paediatric team to deliver family-centred care, adhering to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist with direct and indirect care for children, young people, and their families/carers.
  • Participate in staff programmes and contribute to patient education materials, working with the paediatric nursing staff and members of the multi-professional team.
  • Attend Trust-based orientation/education and training programmes and mandatory training sessions and annual updates.
  • Help maintain a suitable learning environment for staff and act as a facilitator in the supervision and teaching of junior colleagues and students.

Requirements:

  • Band 5 - 3 years, preferably paediatric trained
  • PILS trained or willing to undertake training
  • Ophthalmic trained or willing to undertake

Salary: £35,964 to £43,780 per annum including HCAS
