Food Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Manager to join our team at Sainsbury's. As a Food Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets in the food department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets in the food department.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the food department, including stock management, rotas, and performance monitoring.
- Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and sales performance in the food department.
- Work closely with the Lead Food Manager to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and develop colleagues to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver excellent customer service.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering results and improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on customer service and sales performance.
- Knowledge of food retail operations, including stock management, rotas, and performance monitoring.
