About Us
At Compass Bloom, we are a forward-thinking Mental Health Support Team committed to delivering evidence-based early interventions for children and adolescents in Central and West Lancashire. We seek a dedicated and qualified individual to become part of our team as a Junior Supervising Practitioner. This position provides a unique opportunity to influence services and contribute positively to the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children, adolescents, and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide training, interventions, and consultations to children, adolescents, families, and educational personnel
- Enhance skills in offering CBT-informed supervision
- Advance to Band F level upon successful completion of necessary competencies
Qualifications
- Relevant core professional qualification in mental health
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development
Experience
- A minimum of one year post-qualification experience in therapeutic work with children and adolescents
- Experience in community and/or educational settings
- Proficient engagement with families and caregivers
Additional Skills
- Risk assessment and management capabilities
- Effective time management and workload organization
- Ability to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong communication skills
