A highly skilled Audit Assistant Manager is sought for a role in Professional Services, specifically within the Audit Department at Michael Page Finance. The successful candidate will be a team leader with a strong background in audit processes and financial management.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and manage audit processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will develop and implement audit strategies to optimise efficiency, supervise and mentor members of the audit team, and prepare financial reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit processes to ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
- Develop and implement audit strategies to optimise efficiency and improve audit processes.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the audit team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Prepare financial reports and deliver presentations to stakeholders, including clients and senior management.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall company performance and improve audit processes.
- Handle client relationships and maintain high levels of customer service.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the audit team is aware of any new developments.
Requirements
A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have a professional qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field, and proficiency in audit processes and financial management. They should also have excellent leadership skills and the ability to manage a team, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
