Job Title: VAT Manager/Senior ManagerAbout the Role

Crowe UK is seeking an experienced VAT specialist to join our national UK VAT & Customs Duty team in our Thames Valley office. As a VAT Manager/Senior Manager, you will be responsible for providing expert VAT advice to a diverse portfolio of clients in the local region.

You will work closely with our VAT unit partners and local office partners to develop VAT services and client relationships in the region. You will also have line manager responsibilities for a junior VAT specialist and will be supported by the wider partners and staff in the national VAT unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert VAT advice to clients in the Thames Valley region
  • Develop and maintain trusted client relationships
  • Support the VAT unit partners and local office partners in developing VAT services and client relationships
  • Manage a junior VAT specialist and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the national VAT unit
Requirements
  • UK VAT generalist with experience in corporate VAT matters
  • Strong technical knowledge of VAT and ability to apply it in a practical context
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong leadership and management skills
