Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Primary School setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Key Responsibilities- Support the class teacher in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons to meet the needs of children in the EYFS.
- Assist with the implementation of the EYFS curriculum, ensuring that children are provided with a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
- Work closely with the class teacher to identify and support children with special educational needs, ensuring that they receive the necessary support to access the curriculum.
- Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive classroom environment, promoting social, emotional, and behavioral well-being.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop effective strategies for supporting children's learning.
- Relevant qualifications, such as a Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a UK school or with children of a similar age.
- Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable).
- An enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
- Two professional child-related references.
- Free, accredited continued professional development courses, including Safeguarding and Behavior Management.
- In-house Training and Development Team.
