Job Title: Senior Station Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Station Technician to join our team at RNLI in Thurso, Highland, Scotland.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating our station's equipment, ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency. This is a full-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary of £28,334 - £37,500, dependent on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and operate station equipment, including engines, pumps, and communication systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting equipment.
  • Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with RNLI safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve station goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Station Technician or equivalent role.
  • Strong technical knowledge and skills, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
