As a key member of our property management team, you will report to the Regional Maintenance Manager and play a vital role in upholding the grounds of our properties in the Cornwall region.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage all facets of landscaping, including planting, pruning, weeding, leaf blowing, hedge trimming, and watering.
  • Ensure the grounds are presented to the highest standards.
  • Maintain lawns and flower beds with care.
  • Design and install seasonal floral arrangements.
  • Conduct external maintenance tasks.
  • Execute ground works efficiently.
  • Keep garden equipment in safe and operational condition.
  • Assist the hotel maintenance team as needed.
  • Regularly litter pick car parks, driveways, and public areas.
  • Participate in relevant training sessions as required.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in grounds or maintenance roles.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of:
    • Methods, materials, tools, and equipment utilized in landscape maintenance.
    • Standard horticultural practices such as planting and pruning.
    • Growth characteristics and identification of various plant species.
  • Possession of a full, clean driving license.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Dependable and trustworthy.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Effective workload management skills.
  • Numeracy skills.
