Role Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Class Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with SEN and be committed to making a positive impact on their education and development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess a creative and engaging curriculum tailored to the specific needs of your pupils.
  • Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SEN specialists, and therapists to support pupil progress.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
  • Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor pupil progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to pupil development.
  • Contribute to whole-school initiatives aimed at improving the overall quality of education and wellbeing for all pupils.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ideal but not essential.
  • Experience working in an SEN environment or with children with additional needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for all children.
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage challenges with patience and professionalism.
