Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Commercial and Insurance Underwriter to join our team at The Recruiter Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce accurate and compliant Renewals and mid-term adjustments in line with pricing levels, risk selection criteria, and ensure that income & conversion objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee all administrative duties required in connection to the above, including processing & administering policy documentation, initiating & monitoring surveys, mid-term adjustments, renewal review & negotiation, and claims monitoring.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of all customer contact and ensure the delivery of high-quality service, appropriate to the needs of Broker or Insurer.
  • Proven understanding of commercial Existing business underwriting.
  • Good understanding of commercial business, including commercial combined and property classes.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally, are required, as well as being computer literate, having a positive attitude, and being a team player.
