We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join our team at Nursery People. As a Deputy Nursery Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained.

• Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Lead and inspire a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support as needed to deliver high-quality care and education.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and curriculum in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, promoting children's learning and development.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and carers, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally, and ensuring open communication.
• Ensure all policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety, are followed meticulously, and participate in staff training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

• A minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development principles.
• Previous experience in a nursery setting, with leadership or supervisory experience, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and education.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, parents, and carers.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
