AXA UK is embarking on a significant transformation journey, investing in digital services and streamlining business processes. As part of this initiative, we are seeking an experienced IT Risk Management Specialist to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

**Reporting Structure and Responsibilities**

You will report directly to the Head of IT Risk and be responsible for managing the overall IT risk program, including:

  • Identifying, evaluating, and mitigating operational risks, internal financial control deficiencies, and audit actions or escalations within AXA UK IT.
  • Creating risk reporting for key governance committees.
  • Ensuring risk mitigation plans bring any risks into tolerance.
  • Collaborating with senior technology managers to provide a view of the risk profile for their function.
  • Coordinating IT input into Information Risk Management assessments.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • IT risk experience.
  • Operational risk management experience.
  • Ability to process, collate, and present data.
  • Knowledge of risk frameworks.
  • Desirable: Qualified in IT Risk Management.

**Competitive Compensation Package**

We offer a competitive annual salary of £37,500 - £44,000, dependent on experience, as well as:

  • Discretionary company and performance-based bonus.
  • Contributory pension scheme (up to 12% employer contributions).
