Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Seven Hills School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and personal care of students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality support for students with learning difficulties, sensory, physical, and medical disabilities.
• Assist students with their personal care, communication, and physical needs.
• Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Contribute to the assessment and planning of students' learning and development.
• Work collaboratively with the teaching team and visiting therapists to ensure the best possible outcomes for students.

Requirements

• A calm, friendly, and positive approach to working with students and staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing situations and respond to the needs of students.
• Experience of working with students with challenging behavior and complex needs.
• Proficiency in Safe Moving and Handling techniques and Team Teach.
• Basic ICT skills and experience of working with students with disabilities (desirable).
