Company Overview:
As part of a prominent global manufacturing organization, our client has established a state-of-the-art production facility and is in search of a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to manage all aspects of building services and site operations.

Position Summary:
The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will play a crucial role within the plant maintenance team, ensuring the effective oversight of all facility-related services and maintenance tasks, including both corrective and preventive measures. This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities, from managing security systems to maintaining HVAC systems, drainage, and overall building integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the maintenance and management of all building services, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities.
2. Collaborate with various teams to strategize and implement maintenance schedules, upgrades, or modifications to equipment.
3. Ensure the security of the site, safeguarding personnel, contractors, and assets.
4. Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards, proactively identifying and addressing potential risks.
5. Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track and document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
6. Coordinate with external service providers for specialized equipment maintenance or repairs as needed.

Candidate Profile:
We are seeking applications from experienced Maintenance Technicians or Facilities Engineers who are looking for a dynamic and responsible role within a modern and secure environment. Candidates should possess a comprehensive understanding of building services and site operations, including:
- Security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms)
- Electrical systems (HV/LV)
- Water treatment and drainage systems
- HVAC systems
- Building fabric and grounds maintenance

Qualifications:
Ideally, candidates will have relevant technical qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ in electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience in managing external contractors, including drafting scopes of work and reviewing risk assessments, is highly desirable.
