About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team at Jago Consultants. As a key member of our Senior Management team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet analysis.
  2. Financial Analysis: Provide regular and insightful reports to Managers and Directors on key financial metrics, including stock and debtor management.
  3. Cash Flow Management: Assist with cash flow forecasting, credit control, and debt collection to ensure optimal financial performance.
  4. Financial Planning: Prepare regular bank reports and forecasts to inform business decisions.
  5. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile and correct key balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  6. Year-End Accounts: Assist in the preparation of accurate and compliant monthly and year-end accounts.
  7. Vehicle Sales Management: Monitor and control vehicle sales P&I accounts to ensure optimal profitability.
  8. Error Management: Monitor and correct Kerridge Autoline error reports to minimize financial impact.
  9. Payroll Management: Control payroll and associated reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  10. Administrative Excellence: Maintain high standards of administration and record keeping in compliance with accounting practices and company procedures.
About You
  • 5 years of experience as a Management Accountant, with a preference for motor trade experience.
  • AAT qualified or equivalent, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work efficiently and motivate a team.
  • Ability to complete larger projects while managing day-to-day workload.
