HGV Technician

We are seeking a skilled HGV Fitter to join our client in Surrey, offering stability and growth within a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently repair vehicles and equipment within budget constraints.
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnose issues, and execute maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and equipment.
• Adhere to minimum MOT standards and manufacturer guidelines for fault diagnosis and repair.
• Complete all necessary documentation promptly and accurately.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience as an HGV Fitter / HGV Mechanic or equivalent qualification in heavy vehicle inspection and repair.
• Demonstrated ability to perform high-standard repairs with safety and compliance.
• Strong communication skills and flexibility in task allocation.
• Awareness of regulations and GCSE pass rate in Maths and English.

Working Hours and Benefits:

Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 7:30pm, with on-call duties.

Competitive salary of £42,555 - £44,500 per annum, overtime opportunities paid at time & half, Bank Holidays paid at triple time, generous pension scheme, minimum of 24 days holiday plus bank holidays, and great benefits package.
