Job Title: EHS Manager

Carbon60 is partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit an EHS Manager for their Quality Team. This is a permanent position that has become available due to the company's continued growth and expansion.

Job Summary:

The EHS Manager will work under the direction of the Head of Quality to ensure Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services complies with EHS standards and regulations, including ISO 14001 and 45001. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining these standards, developing and performing internal audits, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Implement and maintain ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards within the Lufthansa Technik Group.
  2. Develop and perform internal audit schedules to assess conformity with ISO standards and other regulations.
  3. Ensure compliance with regulations such as REACH and the Environment Agency.
  4. Provide guidance and support to the business as a Subject Matter Expert on EHS matters, including risk assessment, training, and project consultation.
  5. Monitor and maintain Integrated Management System procedures for EHS.
  6. Act as the contact point with regulatory agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders during inspections, audits, and inquiries.
  7. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) related to EHS performance.
  8. Participate in the Lufthansa Technik EHS community, including attending EHS Summits and working groups.
  9. Be the conduit for Lufthansa Technik EHS leadership to Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services management.
Requirements:
  1. NEBOSH Diploma level or equivalent.
  2. Demonstrated experience in implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems in a complex, regulated environment.
  3. Knowledge of COMAH regulations and experience in developing and implementing safety management systems.
  4. Extensive project management skillset and ability to stick to strict timelines and budgets.
  5. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
