Job Title: Supply Chain Director

Save the Children is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Supply Chain Director to lead our supply chain operations in Ukraine. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that ensures timely and efficient delivery of goods and services to our programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a supply chain strategy that aligns with Save the Children's global policies and procedures.
  • Lead a team of supply chain professionals to ensure effective management of inventory, transportation, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with program managers to ensure that supply chain operations are aligned with program needs and priorities.
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with donor regulations and Save the Children's policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Procurement and Supply Chain, or equivalent.
  • At least 10 years of leadership experience in procurement and supply chain management with humanitarian or development/aid agencies.
  • Experience working in conflict and high-risk security environments with complex supply chains.
  • Robust experience in emergency response program cycle management, working within a complex and matrix organization structure.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
Desirable Skills:
  • Professional Accreditation Certification in Procurement and Supply Chain like CIPS Level 4, CHL, CHSCM or Equivalent.
  • Experience designing and implementing supply chain transformation and integration projects.
  • IT and information management skills.
