Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Business Partner to join our team at Brakes. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Finance FP&A in the production, analysis, and development of accurate management reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Insights and Analysis: Provide regular weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders, including financial performance analysis and insights.
  • Manage Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the budgeting, QBR, and forecasting cycles, including analysis, timetabling, cash flow, and working capital forecasting.
  • International FP&A Support: Serve as the point person for International FP&A, delivering Flash commentary, Month-end submissions, Cycle/Forecast deliverables, and other reporting as requested by the International team.
  • Month-end Activities: Manage Month-end activities, including Workday reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Scenario Planning and Modelling: Assist with scenario planning, modelling, and long-term planning processes.
  • System and Process Development: Oversee the implementation of future FP&A and data improvements, as well as alignment projects.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: CIMA, ACCA, or ACA qualification.
  • Skills: Strong Excel skills, financial analysis, and modelling experience. Excellent communication and partnering skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience: Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong understanding of financial systems and processes.
