About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sustainability Engineer to lead our efforts in reducing carbon emissions and achieving our goal of being a net zero carbon company by 2035.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive framework of initiatives to reduce carbon emissions across the business.
  • Work closely with the Engineering team and other departments to identify and mitigate sustainability risks and opportunities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of ESG software to support external reporting and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Operations and Environmental Management teams to reduce plant-level carbon emissions.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of sustainability and climate change policies at a regional and industry level.
  • Align with corporate sustainability initiatives and execute data-centre-specific pacts.
Requirements
  • Degree in an environmental engineering discipline or relevant Science-based subject.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable engineering, material selection, and lifecycle carbon reduction.
  • Experience in a sustainability role and ESG software.
  • Strong knowledge of the social, economic, and environmental aspects of sustainability.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and climate change adaptation strategies.
  • Good teamworking skills and ability to manage projects to completion.
