Job Summary

MaineHealth Accountable Care Organization is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Central Staffing/Float Pool T1. This role requires a high level of patient and family centered care, with a focus on collaboration, delegation, and communication with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with the scope of practice defined by the Maine State Board of Nursing.
  • Coordinate and deliver care to a diverse population without discrimination in assigned areas.
  • Float to a minimum of two units at Waldo County General Hospital.
  • Meet the required minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs), including education, experience, and competencies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing.
  • A minimum of one-year post-orientation internal acute care experience required, with 9-months post-orientation experience considered for discussion.
  • Ability to float and work within a variety of hospital inpatient settings and the emergency department.
  • As required by department, including Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency for any RN assisting Laboring Women.
