We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Management Accountant to join our dynamic Process, Risk, and Control (PRC) team at Marshalls PLC. As a Trainee Management Accountant, you will play a vital part in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial accounts, supporting the PRC team through month-end, and contributing to the monthly and quarterly pricing, matching of invoices, and lease control.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial accounts
- Support the PRC team through month-end
- Contribute to the monthly and quarterly pricing, matching of invoices, and lease control
- Reconcile accounts and perform stock valuations
- Support queries and assist in preparing and providing systems training across the business
- Gain exposure to expense management and other financial processes
- Actively studying CIMA, ACCA, or AAT and a willingness to learn and develop skills
- Previous financial control experience and knowledge of financial systems
- Leasing experience and knowledge of AX Dynamics/D365 or similar
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with sound Excel skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Logical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and a positive attitude
