Moderator for GCE A Level Drama and Theatre

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Moderator for GCE A Level Drama and Theatre. As a Moderator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and consistency of assessments for this subject.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out the moderation of parts of a subject examination, such as coursework, projects, and special studies, which are marked initially by teachers in the centres and then sent to you.
  • Undertake, when necessary, the direct assessment of school-based components in the subject where centres opt not to make initial assessments.
  • Complete and submit centre reports to the Team Leader or Principal Moderator as required.
Requirements
  • Have one academic year's worth of teaching experience within the last 8 years and within the relevant qualification and subject.
  • Hold a degree or equivalent.
  • Be a qualified teacher.
Competencies
  • Have the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Have the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme.
