At Jackson Hogg, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Controller to join our team. As a key member of our Accounts Receivable team, you will be responsible for the collection of rental income for 1,500 units using internal systems and monitoring levels of rental income.
Key Responsibilities:- Monthly Reporting: Prepare and manage monthly reports on levels of arrears, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
- Customer Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication with customers via telephone and email to progress rent payments and resolve any issues.
- System Maintenance: Ensure internal systems are regularly updated and maintained to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
- Legal Proceedings: Instruct and follow up on legal proceedings as necessary to recover outstanding debts.
- Team Collaboration: Liaise with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Bad Debt Review: Conduct monthly reviews of bad debt write-offs to identify areas for improvement.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Technical Skills: Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Customer Service: Excellent customer service and awareness, with previous experience in dealing with the public.
- Credit Control Experience: At least 1 year's previous credit control/accounts receivable experience.
- Legal Knowledge: Basic understanding of the legal system relevant to credit control, including small claims.
