Multiskilled Engineer Role
Yolk Recruitment Ltd is currently working with a long-established business in the manufacturing sector who are seeking an Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
You will be working independently, covering 4 production lines, on a 4on 4off (2 days/2 nights) shift pattern.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Electrical and Mechanical support and knowledge on all lines within the plant.
- Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for fault finding and repair using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
- Ensure maximum machine availability through effective planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Actively strive to ensure that your time is oriented towards achieving machine maintenance hours on planned work, together with other plant engineers and team leaders.
- Installation of machinery and site services equipment.
Requirements:
- Proven Electrical and Mechanical knowledge to support all production lines within the plant.
- Proactive equipment testing, fault finding, and repair.
- PLC fault finding and modification experience using Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
Benefits:
- A competitive base salary up to £49,000, with opportunities for overtime.
